ELMED BIPOLAR FORCEPS

When atraumatic coagulation is essential, bipolar coagulation forceps play an important role. When used with a low voltage, radio-frequency bipolar coagulator such as the ELMED units, vessels may be sealed even when they are next to primary nerves without the risk of injury.

The ELMED bipolar coagulation forceps are made of the finest stainless steel. (Titanium models are available). A great variety of models are available for neuro- and ophthalmic surgery, for surgery of the hand, plastic and reconstructive surgery, gynecological microsurgery, and for general surgical applications.

The ELMED bipolar coagulation forceps are available for conventional footswitch operated units, automatic switching units, handswitch operated coagulators with the ELMED fitting, as well as forceps with the conventional two-pin fittings. Additionally, ELMED supplies bipolar forceps and bipolar cables for all units, including hand activated forceps for ValleyLab and other electrosurgical generators (please request more information).

BIPOLAR FORCEPS WITH ELMED FITTING

The ELMED fitting is a much more durable connector than the two-pin style, providing more positive contact, as well as superior durability and performance. In addition to the superior quality of the ELMED fitting, we also offer forceps with our exclusive BI-CO-MATIC handswitch (compatible with ELMED bipolar generators only), which will enable the forceps to activate the generator's RF-output, simply by applying a slight squeezing pressure to the forceps. This eliminates the need for a foot pedal to activate the generator.
