ELMED THERMO-FLUX
ARGON GAS SYSTEM FOR SURGERY
Surgeons have long appreciated spray coagulation provided by high-voltage electrosurgical generators for the purpose of hemostasis. Argon gas, when energized by a high-voltage high-frequency current, is ignited and provides a high temperature flame, which quickly coagulates tissue.
The ELMED THERMO-FLUX ARGON GAS SYSTEM operates in combination with such high-voltage, electrosurgical units as the ELMED ESU 170 RF, ESU 300 and ESU 400, as well as competitive generators of similar performance.

The ELMED THERMO-FLUX ARGON GAS UNIT may be operated in conjunction with ELMED and other electrosurgical generators, which provide a coagulation power of 6,000 Volts, plus. If used with other than ELMED generators, special interconnecting cables may be necessary. It is intended to operate only in the coagulation mode.
