Behind the attractive design are years of development work and advanced technical solutions. A welded steel frame covered with modern composite material, a soft luxurious, yet durable naugahyde upholstery and the latest microprocessor based devices are used.

The movement pattern of the ELMED FULL POWER CHAIR meets the requirements of the most demanding surgeons. The sturdy construction ensures comfort for the patient without sacrificing stability.

The seat, leg and backrest movements are synchronized with each other, and the mechanical design prevents the common phenomena of stretching and squeezing the patient when the backrest is adjusted. From its lowest to the highest position the chair moves smoothly and the backrest is adjusted longitudinally to provide the best comfort for any patient. In the event of an emergency or when required for a surgical procedure, the chair can quickly be set into the TRENDELENBURG position. The ever increasing hygienic requirements have been a major factor in designing the ELMED FULL POWER CHAIR. The risk of cross-contamination has been reduced to a minimum by utilizing a durable, easy-to-clean composite material and naugahyde upholstery.

FEATURES OF THE ELMED FULL POWER CHAIR

• All electrical circuits including the two motors are low voltage type to minimize electrical hazards.
• Built in security switches stop all movements in the event of any obstructions in the downward movement.
• Advanced microprocessor technology allows up to 8 different positions to be programmed into the chair's computer.

The armrests turn 90 degrees and are easily removable to make it easy for elderly or disabled patients to get in and out of the chair.

A sophisticated self-diagnostic program is built into the chair's computer for fast detection of the problem, should anything go wrong.

All movements are controlled by remote foot or hand control.
