The ELMED HVG 500 is a high voltage pulsed galvanic current stimulator for the management of::
· Non-specific pain syndrome
· Pain associated with arthritis and rheumatism
· Low back pain
· Acute pain syndrome
· Acute pain as a result of soft tissue injuries such as sprains, strains, contusions
· Electroanalgesia
· Conventional muscle stimulation in disuse atrophy
· Management of burns and ischemic ulcers.
The application of high voltage galvanic current overcomes the pain-sensitive skin barrier by means of well tolerated high voltage galvanic pulses. Galvanic current has been used for many years as adjunctive therapy because of numerous beneficial effects, particularly the possibility of stimulating muscles and in the management of pain.
The ELMED HVG 500 is an all solid-state unit, with digital display incorporating the latest technology.
